An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Senior Administration Assistant to join the East Riding Partnership (Central Hub) Addictions Service. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent administrative and customer service within a health or social care environment. They will demonstrate exemplary efficiency, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a non-judgemental attitude. The candidate will hold administrative qualifications at Level 3 or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience. They will support the operational running of the hub and provide specialist administrative support to the addictions multi-disciplinary team and senior management.

Main duties of the job

This role will be an integral part of the community addictions service and will be expected to:

  • Provide and receive routine information orally, in writing or electronically to inform work colleagues, patients, clients, carers, the public/external contacts
  • Generate service users prescriptions under supervision of the prescribing teamResponsible for the ordering of stock/non-stock for the team
  • To provide supervision to the band 2 administration assistant.
  • Demonstrate a competent level of inter-personal skills when providing information of a non-clinical nature to staff, clients, carers, public/external agencies, maintaining the Trust standards of customer service.
  • Have an awareness of security/health and safety processes and procedures, as required, relevant to the area of work.
  • Accurately record information.
  • Contribute to team meetings.
