Job summary

An exciting Opportunity has arisen for dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Older Peoples Mental Health Service as a Senior Administration Assistant.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with previous clerical experience who can communicate at all levels, work flexibility and is able to organise and prioritise their workload.

Good communication skills are essential and we are looking for an individual with a passion to work in a team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth ans efficient running of our daily operations, contributing to our overall success.

Main duties of the job

o To provide and receive routine information orally, in writing or electronically to inform work colleagues, clients, external contacts.

o To demonstrate a competent level of inter-personal skills when providing information of a non-clinical nature to staff, clients, external agencies, maintaining the Trust standards of customer service.

o To have an understanding of security/health and safety processes and procedures, as required, relevant to the area of work.

o To accurately record information.

o To contribute to team meetings.

o To plan and organise own day to day tasks within the parameters set out by supervising staff.

o May assist with the arrangement of meetings, may be required to take notes of a non-complex nature.

o To plan and organise a range of straightforward tasks as directed by senior staff in line with service provision.

o Take formal and informal minutes/notes of meetings.

o May be required to plan work of less experienced staff.
