Job summary

Do you have experience working in mental health services, supervising staff and decision-making and looking to progress in your career? Our current bases offer on-site parking and you will be equipped with the necessary IT to work flexibly across our sites.

We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner, that will take responsibility for supervising and managing workloads of a team of mental health social workers, working with Primary Care network colleagues and supporting the running of a fast-paced city Centre CMHT.

Main duties of the job

Provides a range of advanced/specialist advice, assessment and interventions/programmes of care for individuals referred to services and other professionals as appropriate.

To contribute the specialist social work perspective in reviewing, developing and monitoring operational/social work policy which impacts beyond own area of responsibility.

Provide social work supervision, specialist advice and or training within own area of specialism to other professionals, patients, relatives. To support the ASYE programme by working with ASYE assessors and candidates.

Participate in staff/student training and development within the Team and wider Adult Mental Health Care Group.
