Job summary
East House Bridlington Older Peoples Mental Health Team are looking to recruit a highly motivated Band 2 Administration Assistant. They will be primarily based within East House but may be required to support across sites on occasions.
Applicants will be expected to have previous experience of working within a busy office environment and be able to display a high standard of communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Applicants should be self-motived and a committed team player with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team. The ability to prioritise workloads, maintain flexibility in response to change and have a proactive approach to work is important; as is the ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude and use of initiative when dealing with unexpected situations.
The post holder will receive regular supervision and attend relevant training identified through Knowledge and Skills Framework processes and their individual performance and development review (PADR).
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will include -
- To Prepare and edit letters and emails
- To deal with telephone enquiries from patients regardingappointments and input data into administration systems, so excellent keyboard skills are required.
- Covering Reception
- Inputting on Lorenzo System
- Adding/Closing of CPA'S, Clusters, Access Plans and referrals
The practice operates between 0900-1700 Monday to Friday but a degree of flexibility to cover is expected to cover for annual leave / sickness.
The role is varied and highly demanding, requiring a person with exceptional organisational ability and able to work under pressure while providing a positive and responsive professionalism on behalf of the practice
