Job summary

We are looking to employ male Band 3 Health Care Assistants (HCA) to join the team based at Newbridges Inpatient Unit. Due to the requirements of this role there is a genuine occupational requirement for males to be appointed. This is a patient facing role working in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team based at Newbridges. Newbridges is an 18 bedded working age, male inpatient unit.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role will include:

  • To provide and maintain a high standard of health care assistant support to patients as well as providing assistance to the clinical and other members of the healthcare team
  • Demonstrating the ability to work effectively as part of a teamand provide support/guidance to less experienced staff/learners within the clinical environment
  • Working to promote the health and wellbeing of patients within the unit.
