Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a skilled, innovative, and committed physiotherapist to join the UCR Intermediate care team based in Ryedale and Scarborough.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to further develop their Band 5 skills and form part of a 6 monthly rotation. It would be a suitable post for a newly qualified Band 5 or those wishing to further develop skills in these two areas.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will benefit from our commitment to staff development, training and regular supervision
- working as an integrated member of the 7 day multi-disciplinary team.
- Providing physiotherapy assessment and intervention to a wide range of patients within service specifications .
- Delivering skilled clinical interventions, holistic assessments and the promotion of self-care while supporting and enabling patients to remain in their own home or preferred place of care.

- Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy
- State Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Knowledge of physiotherapy models of practice, standardised assessments, and their use
Desirable
- Full understanding/application of relevant clinical practice/standards/audit within identified clinical area
- Evidence of current CPD/formal qualifications at an advanced level e.g. degree or post graduate level or equivalent knowledge/experiential learning

- Sound assessment skills with clinical reasoning and analytical ability
- Ability to manage own caseload and prioritise workload pressures
- Can demonstrate clinical skills encompassing the core areas of exercise therapy, management of pain relief, mobility training and therapeutic handling
