Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 dietitian to join our supportive and friendly adult community dietetic service based in the seaside town of Scarborough on a fixed term and part time basis.
We are looking for a specialist dietitian with excellent clinical, communication and team working skills.
This role provides the opportunity to have supported training or furthering experience in Type 1 diabetes structured education DAFNE.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will include:
- To manage own caseload and provide a high standard of care to meet the needs of patients referred for a range of clinical conditions such as nutrition support, diabetes and gastrointestinal conditions.
- Deliver type 1 diabetes structured education - remote DAFNE
- To participate in practice supervision, continued professional development and student training
