Job summary

We are seeking to recruit a full time Apprenticeship Administrative Assistant to work within our busy award winning Prevention Wellbeing and Recovery Directorate of the trust, YOURhealth service, Voluntary Services, the Recovery College and IPS. The aim of this directorate is to improve health inequalities across a large geographical area within Humber Coast and Vale.

This job requires a commitment to complete the apprenticeship in the allocated time alongside the job role.

As part of the apprenticeship, you will also be required to undertake maths and English functional skills at level 2 if you have not already achieved this.

You will undertake a Level 3 standard Business and Administration apprenticeship. Whilst you work closely with your new team to gain the essential skills, knowledge and behaviours for this new role. The duration of the apprenticeship will be 18 months.

Part of the essential criteria to be able to complete the qualification.

To be eligible for a funded apprenticeship, you must

    1. be a resident in the UK/EU for the last three years
    2. you must not hold the same level of qualification (or above) in the same pathway or subject ie. BTEC

You will be paid the National living wage (based on your age) and be working towards a Band 2 Agenda for Change on completion of apprenticeship.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role will include -

  • To provide administrative/secretarial support to clinical teams/support services within standard administrative procedures and contribute to the planning and development of the service as a member of the team.
  • To support the engagement of all who access the service.
  • To value and make meaningful use of feedback from our service users.
  • Minute taking for a variety of meetings and MDT's.
  • Support the Patient and Carer Experience arm of the service

There will be a requirement to provide a service between 8.00 am - 8.00pm over a 6 day period, to meet the needs of the service and service users within the YOURhealth service.
