Job summary

o Work within the Clinical Support Team to provide a comprehensive clerical support serviceo Responsibility for data entry and maintenance of database systems.o Assists in the organisation of workload management - word processing, distributing and filing etc.o Liaison with clinical and admin staff both within and outside the department.o Contact with patients and other relevant external agencies & extensive contact with GP's patients and other relevant external agencies.o Booking Appointments

Main duties of the job

o Liaison with staff both within and outside the department, contact with GPs patients, families and other relevant external agencies.o Responsibility for providing and receiving complex/sensitive information requiring tact, empathy and diplomacy.o Respond to a high volume of external/internal enquires via personal, written and telephone queries.o Responsibility for implementing instructions involving liaison with patients, families, hospitals, GPs and other agencies in connection to patients and their care.o Excellent communication skills required.o Booking Appointments as required
