Job summary
An opportunity has risen for part time enthusiastic and hard-working administrator to cover maternity leave for a year to work at Ealing Hospital. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the clinical Nutrition and Dietetic team. You must manage your own workload in part time hours. You would need an attention to detail, good time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing work priorities
The Ealing dietetic team is a small friendly, supportive team who are part of a larger London Northwest University NHS team across Northwick Park and Central Middlesex Hospitals.
The post will ideally suit someone with a mature outlook who can work effectively as a team member and on their own initiative. You should be educated to a GCSE level or equivalent and have a good working knowledge MS office.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include providing administrative support with recruitment and induction of all new team members to the department including dietetic students. Other duties include supporting team with IT systems, booking, and managing appointment queries and ordering stationery
The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated. We need a confident communicator who can be sensitive and empathetic to patients and staff needs.
The role will involve a variety of administrative functions including speaking to patients and staff on the phone, working with databases and clinical systems and maintaining a patient appointment system
