Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated recently graduated Research Physiologist to join the research team led by Professor Stuart Rosen at Ealing Hospital. This is a 6-month fixed-term post, with good potential for extension, depending on external grant funding.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a pioneering research project in autonomic assessment, combining clinical physiology with cutting-edge data science. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and executing research with substantial clinical impact.
Main duties of the job
Conducting advanced physiological data acquisition in line with study protocols
Designing, setting up, and managing clinical studies focused on autonomic dysregulation in compliance with research governance and ethics regulations
Applying artificial intelligence tools to analyse and interpret large physiological datasets
Maintaining meticulous research records and contributing to publications and presentations
Mentoring junior physiologists during research
Assisting with the preparation of grant applications
Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external healthcare Trusts
