We have an exciting opportunity available as Radiology Clinical Sister to work at our Central Middlesex site ( main Radiology and St Marks) with an expectation of occasionally rotating to the other two sites (EH&NPH).
As a highly experienced Radiology nurse, you will provide a high standard of expertise in nursing care and evaluate the care delivered to our patients within the department .
Successful candidates with no previous Radiology experience with be provided with a 6 months training and development tool/programme
Able to work flexibly within radiology nursing, clerical , clinical staff and MDT.
Main duties of the job
Create a learning environment for students and other groups of staff during their allocation to the CDC department.
o To work with the CDC teams in regularly reviewing and updating documentation and patient information sheets.
o To lead on quality, patient experience, infection control and promote engagement and lead by example.
o To support clinical staff in conducting clinical investigations

- BSc Nursing or Equivalent
- Current NMC Registration

- Additional specialist qualification related to Management of Deteriorating Patients.
Knowledge & Experience

- Significant experience as a band 5 nurse
- Experience of multidisciplinary working
- Teaching, supervising and assessing students, new or junior members of staff
- Knowledge of Clinical Governance
- Knowledge and experience of caring for GI patients
- Evidence of continuing professional developmnet

- Experience within the Diverse environment
