Job summary

To provide care to a specific patient or group of patients without constant direct supervision from a qualified nurse

To report patient condition to a qualified nurse

Main duties of the job

Provide reassurance and support to patients and carers/family

Provide information to enable the effectiveness of care to be evaluated and records maintained

Report any concerns regarding patient care
