Specialty doctor Ealing ISRH
The Specialty Doctor will be expected to work with department members to help provide a clinical Integrated Reproductive & Sexual Health service (ISRH) for the Ealing borough.
He/she will also need to:
Share in the administration of the ISRH Departments
Contribute to the teaching of medical students and other professionals
Contribute to the implementation of the ISRH Department's development plans.
Help to facilitate the Trust ISRH research and audit programme.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be working in the Ealing ISRH department and will carry out outpatient clinics catering for patients in need of sexual health services.They will provide testing, treatment and prevention - PrEP and PEP for high risk individuals.They will also provide emergency contraception and counselling and onward referral for other methods of contraceptive choices including LARC.

The successful candidate will mainly be responsible of providing GUM services in our community sexual health clinic.
Outline of job plan;
Notes:
- There may be some flexibility about this timetable according to clinic capacity
- All clinics include time for patient-related administration, including coding
- The post-holder will have office space, computer access and secretarial support.
- There is consideration of time off in lieu for any extra clinical time worked, including Saturday clinics when available.
- There is no on call commitment
It is a requirement of the post-holders employment that they are prepared to work at any additional or different locations owned or served by the trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service.
This is a provisional job plan and will be mutually agreed with the Clinical Lead for GUM/HIV. On occasion and as patterns of service provision evolve and change, further rescheduling of clinical sessions may take place following negotiation with the Department of ISH and HIV and the Clinical Director.
