Job Summary
The purpose of the post is to provide essential support to the project roll-out of the Team-Based Rostering initiative within the Nursing and Midwifery inpatient areas and other 24 hours / day services.
The post-holder is responsible for ensuring continuous support in communicating, engaging, and maintain a good working relationship with the project team and all key stakeholders. To provide support to the E-Rostering manager in the configuration of the T-BR in each nursing and midwifery inpatient and other 24 hours / day service units. To provide support in facilitating in delivering a T-BR webinar, training and/or drop in session. To assist in fully embedding and sustaining the T-BR initiative to maximise benefits, provides updates, and keep track of the T-BR KPI's. The post holder will also provide cover for the E-Rostering manager in the event of planned and unplanned leave/absences to the ensure the continuity and delivery of the T-BR Trust wide within the timeline.
Main duties of the job
Main Tasks and professional responsibility
o To actively contribute and support in the successful roll-out of Team-Based Rostering (T-BR).
o To work closely with the T-BR project team and all key stakeholders.
o To ensure continuous engagement to all key stakeholders.
o To support in the configuration of T-BR for each unit within the project scope (service requirements, budget, skill mix, duty rules, flexible working agreement and restrictions).
o To work within a team and independently with minimal supervision and ensuring that the project roll-out is on-track and within the set deadline and project tracker is kept up to date.
o To support, presents and deliver a webinar, drop-in session and/or on-going training session to a large group of staff regarding the T-BR.
o To engage all key stakeholders on how to access the reports and support the effective utilisations of the automated T-BR roster dashboard.
o To support interrogating and analysing the T-BR KPI's reports, identify where improvements can be made, provide feedback and support to the managers to ensure that target is met alongside the Project Lead Nurse
o To regularly review areas already established on T-BR to ensure accuracy and relevance of information held, and management understanding of their responsibilities.
