Clinical Nurse Specialist Integrated Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare

Job summary

LNWH provides Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare Services across the boroughs of Ealing, Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon. An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated band 7 nurse to join our Harrow service.

The successful applicant will join an experienced multidisciplinary team and contribute to the provision of sexual and reproductive healthcare within the community of Harrow.

The successful applicant will work with the MDT towards the development of staff, having the opportunity to influence the future for nurses working within sexual and reproductive healthcare services.

We are looking for individuals who have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and a genuine passion for delivering contraception and sexual healthcare.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will require post registration qualifications in contraception and sexual health, with particular emphasis in the provision of contraception services

Essential - The insertion and removal of subdermal implants

Essential - Intrauterine techniques or willingness to learn this skill

Successful applicant should have excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of team and be flexible to meet the needs of the post.
