KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe key responsibilities of the post-holder will include: -o Support for the day-to-day operational management of the serviceo Management of a full and flexible administrative support to the serviceo Management of efficient robust data capture systemso Active contribution to the delivery of "patient centred" servicesThe post-holder will be expected to deputise for the Service Manager(s) when requiredSt Mark's Specific Responsibilitieso Responsible for clinic management across St Mark's, i.e. triage, booking, clinic templatesand cashing up.o Line management Endoscopy, POA Team (s).o Support to the Business Managers for DMO1, RTT & Cancer validation.o Line manager for the DMO1, RTT Patient Pathway Co-ordinator & Validation.o Main liaison with Access Out-patient Department/Booking Hub.
Main duties of the job
Operational Main Dutieso Manage personal workload to meet both corporate and personal deadlines.o Prioritise workload in a way that enables the delivery of both important and urgent tasks.o Manage staff and delegate appropriate tasks, ensuring competence of the staff to which work is delegated.o Organise staff briefings and meetings as appropriate.o Support the senior management team in undertaking capacity and demand exercises in order to best plan and deliver services.o Facilitate collaborative working between all stakeholders inside and outside of the Directorate-this will include both clinical and non-clinical staff.o Participate in the development of a shared vision for the Division and promote a culture where all staff understand and are involved in working together towards the achievement of the service and Trust objectives.o Identify changes that may be required in an area to deliver the service and activelyimplement these changes with the support of the Service Manager.o Seek to work with a "problem solving approach" in order to identify solutions to challenges in the service.o Produce Monitor and Deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and attend meetings as required.o Analyse outcome measures and activity data relating to service performance in relation to 18 weeks pathways
