HIV and Sexual Health Staff Nurse

Job summary

LNWH provides HIV services across the communities of Brent, Ealing, Hillingdon, and Harrow.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Hillingdon HIV service for the addition of a band 5 nurse to our team. This would be a great opportunity for newly qualified nurses or post registration nurses wishing to develop a career within HIV and Sexual Health.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within an experienced multidisciplinary team in the provision of high quality patient care and will be exposed to a variety of learning opportunities that can shape their nursing career.

Main duties of the job

To work within the multidisciplinary team in the provision of advice, support, and management for those living with HIV.

To offer Blood borne virus and STI screening, including sexual and reproductive health (SRH) education, promotion and counselling to individuals attending services in outreach settings as necessary.

The post holder will work in partnership with colleagues to deliver an evidence-based HIV and SRH service to the local population of Hillingdon.
