Job summary
London North West Healthcare NHS Trust is looking to recruit a forward thinking and dynamic Consultant Orthodontist.
Applications are invited for this 6 PA programmed activity post based at Northwick Park Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post consists of a combination of personal treatment, diagnostic and multidisciplinary sessions. Aspects of the post will involve supervision and training of specialist trainee registrars and post CCST on rotation from The Royal London Hospital. There is a close working relationship with maxillofacial surgeons allowing for weekly orthognathic clinics.

Qualifications
Essential
- Specialist Membership in Orthodontics or equivalent.
- Possession of a Certificate of Accreditation or eligibility for a CCST in Orthodontics or equivalent experience / qualification
Desirable
- Fellowship in Dental Surgery or Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of the UK or Ireland, or equivalent
Knowledge & Expertise

- Experience in treatment of multi-disciplinary cases

- Successful completion of an SAC-approved minimum two year training in a Fixed Term Training Appointment (FTTA) which follows on from the preCCST training period of three years, or within 3 months of completion, or equivalent
