Summer MBA Transformation Analyst Internship

Job summary

This is an opportunity to spend your summer learning from and contributing to the NHS in north west London. This internship is now expanding in its fourth year having already had alumni from Harvard, London, Oxford, Cambridge and Manchester Business Schools.

The posts are offered as a professional development summer internship for people part way through a MBA programme. Its intention is to give insights and experiences of working inside a large NHS organisation, whilst benefiting from the candidate's own knowledge, experience, and ideas.

As an internship, it is time limited to the summer months between June to September outside of term time. This is offered on a fixed term contract over approximately 13 weeks with the start and end dates to be agreed subject to successful candidate.

Numerous NHS organisations across London are partnering together to offer MBA internship placements. As well as leading specific projects and initiatives within your host organisation, there will be collaborative networking, professional development, and connections across the organisations and with other successful internship applications.

Main duties of the job

The post will be a member of the transformation, improvement and strategy teams within each organisation, supporting initiatives including:

  • Analytical modelling and forecasting
  • Data led investigations
  • Score card creation
  • Project management
  • Best practice research
  • Staff and patient engagement
  • Process mapping and engineering
