The stroke unit has earned a sterling reputation for delivering hyper-acute and rehabilitation stroke care to NW London. Our 59-bed unit is one of the busiest and most esteemed in the UK.
You will be working closely with our Clinical Manager to maintain and elevate our high-quality service. You'll be instrumental in ensuring that our performance standards not only meet but exceed expectations. Your unique role will also involve leading the charge in collecting and implementing patient feedback. This will directly impact the lives of stroke survivors, making a tangible difference in their care journey.
This role presents an opportunity to hone your skills in the art of data analysis, using advanced Excel functions such as INDEX and IFSTATEMENTS. Skills in Visual Basic for Applications is a plus, setting you apart as a data-driven professional. Your advanced communication skills will be vital in conducting user involvement projects, ensuring patient perspectives shape our care. Additionally, your ability to present data effectively to our MDT will be an asset in driving improvement.You would become part of a dynamic and diverse group of professionals with extensive experience in managing stroke services.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
- Collection of SSNAP data and in depth analysis of stroke performance and assessment to ensure compliance with a range of National, Sector or Trust targets.
- Maintaining the system data quality.
- Collection and in depth analysis of patient experience
- Practice and service development
- Facilitating and coordinating MDM meetings
- Presenting stroke performance data to senior managers and other stakeholders in the required format and style
- Education and training to individuals and groups
- Manage staff and delegate appropriate tasks, ensuring competence of the staff to whom work is delegated
