Job summary
St Mark's Hospital is seeking a bright, talented, and dynamic individual to fill the role of Assistant Service Manager for a 6-month fixed term period.We are committed to high quality service delivery and development and improving the patient's experience. You should have previous experience in this area, which you would be able to clearly demonstrate.
Main duties of the job
Key area of responsibility will be the management of admin teams and supporting the Managers at St Mark's and Ealing in the achievement and maintenance of trust targets.
The environment is dynamic, fast paced and challenging and you will require a high attention to detail as well as being able to work under pressure. In return you would be part of a fantastic team and a strong support structure. Personal resilience, drive, focus and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential requirements. The role would ideally suit someone with experience of running NHS clinics, with knowledge of waiting time targets and desirable experience in operational management. You will need to have strong inter-personal skills and be able to influence and motivate others and to support people through service improvement and transformational change. You will be able to work as part of a team as well as demonstrating the ability to be able to work independently, with some previous management experience. Being able to think innovatively and communicate effectively with a wide range of departments, teams and agencies is essential.
The Assistant Service Manager role would be based at all three hospital sites.
