Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join London North West Healthcare's Finance systems support team to provide financial and procurement applications help and support to our colleagues in Finance, across our hospitals and two other NHS organisations.
The post holder will support all aspects of financial and procurement applications administration and support, including liaising with all types of users, maintenance of user access rights and undertaking data transfers.
Candidates need to possess effective pc skills including using a variety of applications such as spread sheets, computerised financial ledgers, database and reporting applications that are fundamental to the role. The post requires good technical competence combined with the ability to communicate effectively. Previous relevant experience in accounting or the NHS is desirable but not essential.
Main duties of the job
Develop and maintain good relationships with users at all levels and to use the processes for ensuring that call logs are recorded, assigned, and completed within set target times and to a good quality standard. Call logs and requests must be checked to ensure system security and integrity remain intact.
Reconcile and upload data from other applications and suppliers to the finance system in line with the weekly and monthly timetables, including payroll and invoice analysis data.
As business processes evolve, existing procedures and guidance notes are reviewed and updated. New processes and applications require new procedures and guidance notes to be written for use by the team and users.
