Job summary

CarrollWard- Northwick Park Hospital Staff Nurse - (Band 5) Permanent; Full Time (37.5 hours/week) With the recent changes in Emergency care capacity at LNWUH we have a fabulous opportunity to recruit into our short stay acute medical unit. We are seeking staff with good clinical experience that are keen to advance their practice and team working skills. The applicant would be expected to work as a member team undertaking duties at Band 5 staff nurse level, with an emphasis on high standards of patient care, good clinical skills and the opportunity to enhance those skills. The post holder will be required to carry out clinical duties whilst maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and would be expected to work within the multidisciplinary team.

Carroll Ward is comprised of 10 beds and 2 chaired areas (12 chairs) which takes patients from the Emergency Department . Our focus is on providing excellent care in a very busy environment.

The areas are complimented by a dedicated therapies and medical team and are supported by a clinical Matron and a shared clinical practice development nurse .There are great opportunities for career progression and clinical and professional development.
