Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist advice on managing adultSafeguarding matters within the organisation; working in partnership with Adult Social Care; the co-ordination of adult safeguarding procedures and reporting to and the Trust Named Professional for Safeguarding Adults.
To represent the Trust when working with multi-agencies and to be an advisor for the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (forthcoming Liberty Protection Safeguards, Domestic Abuse (including MARAC), restraint, best interest and promote a Making Safeguarding Personal agenda.Although required to work across sites the post holder will be based mostly at Northwick Park Hospital.This post is a great opportunity to forge a career in Adult Safeguarding where you will join a supportive and forward-thinking team with a focus on THINK FAMILY
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our Safeguarding Team. The post holder will be at the forefront of safeguarding our most vulnerable adult patients and working with staff on site and other agencies to ensure best practice in Adult Safeguarding. They will also have the opportunity to develop their career, training skills and knowledge in Adult Safeguarding
They will be part of a dynamic and forward thinking safeguarding team which supports and encourages learning and development of the professionals within it and advocates a "Think Family" approach to all safeguarding matters.
