Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HCPC-registered paramedic to join our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) as Assistant HART Manager (Quality).
This pivotal role provides leadership and assurance for quality, compliance, and governance across HART operations.
You will drive continuous improvement, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety and learning.
Main duties of the job
- Lead quality improvement programmes and clinical governance processes.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, EPRR core standards, and internal audit frameworks.
- Develop and monitor SOPs, risk registers, and clinical audit programmes.
- Support incident investigations and embed lessons learned into practice.
- Mentor and coach staff to achieve quality objectives and performance standards.
- Deputise for the HART & Special Operations Manager and participate in the NILO/Tactical Advisor on-call rota once trained.
