Job summary
To support EPRR Senior Management in delivering the EPRR function in ensuring the Trust fulfils its obligations under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, the Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response Framework (EPRR) (supporting the Health and Social Care Act 2012) and the International Business Continuity Standard ISO 22301.
The individual will also ensure the team meets all the Trust governance requirements, in line with NHS Standard Contact (SC30) and CQC requirements and standards.
Main duties of the job
Undertaking a range of administrative duties including management of plan and guidance governance, production of analytical data and archiving of relevant information.Supporting the Assistant Director Operations for EPRR and Special Operations (ADO) in providing evidence and underpinning data to key stakeholders in such areas as key emergency plans, site specific plans and capabilities, stakeholders support and engagement.Also, co-ordinating internal and multi-agency horizon scanning for risks and threats, as well as undertaking a co-ordinating role for any delegated tasks and or Trust actions.
About us
There is a requirement for the post holder to join the on-call team as a Command Support Assistant and therefore would be required to undertake the appropriate training.
To be a point of contact for co-ordinating and where required communicating resilience-based information and data, both internally and externally with key stakeholders whilst maintaining strong governance and information management in accordance with statutory requirements. (General Data Protection Regulations and Government Protective Marking Scheme).
To deputise for the EPRR team where required, as a representative of the Trust including attendance at local, regional, and national meetings as required, providing either a conduit between ADO and partners as well as providing advice and guidance on behalf of the Trust.
An integral part of the role will involve dealing with security classifieddocuments and information; therefore, the post holder will need toundertake a security clearance check.
An EPRR qualification is desirable however working towards such a qualification is acceptable. There must be willingness by the post holder to study and obtain this qualification as soon as possible when they have been appointed into post.
