This is an exciting opportunity to join the Single Point of Access Service which is the front door to mental health services in the London Borough of Lambeth
This is a fast-paced service with a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality mental health support. Your role sits within the Senior Decision-Making Group and will support the decision-making process by being responsible for providing a compassionate, responsive and professional first point of contact for individuals accessing mental health services via telephone triage

Collaborate with clinical staff for coordinated care
Attend MDT meetings and contribute to care planning

Support administrative tasks (appointments, documentation, follow-up)

Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ level 3 plus relevant experience Or NVQ level 4
- Good basic level of education with at least 5 GCSE grades A to C (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
Experience
Essential
- Substantial Experience of working directly with mental health service-users in a care or support role or in the community sector
- Evidence of Ability to work in a person-centred way when assisting service users to overcome barriers
- Ability to develop effective working partnerships with a variety of people including service users and team members
Desirable
- Knowledge of mental health systems and services locally and nationally
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Awareness and understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and data protection procedures
- Good IT & typing skills - Word, Excel, Email
- Understanding of the needs of people with mental health problems including a graded approach to recovery
