CAMHS Nursing Executive is searching for a dedicated Matron to join our Directorate Leadership team and be at the heart of our children and adolescent mental health services. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, evidence based, compassionate, person centred care. Where you will be responsible for clinical and professional leadership to nursing/non nursing staff at all levels within their clinical area of responsibility.

This is an exciting post that allows for close working and collaboration with senior management and clinicians in the future development of the directorate. The modern matron will be an integral part of the Nursing, Quality and Assurance Team. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication, motivational and influencing skills being able to influence and encourage teams to work across organisational boundaries whilst holding patient care at the heart of their work.

Main duties of the job

A Mental Nurse or RN (Mental Health) Degree or Equivalent professional qualification and experience in mental health care.

A passion for supporting children and young people with mental health challenges.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
