Job summary
Southwark CAMHS are seeking to recruit a CAMHS Practitioner with strong clinical skills. This is a fixed-term 0.85 WTE post available for 12 months based within the Southwark CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Service. Within the Neurodevelopmental Service, you will work alongside the Clinical Service Lead as well as other colleagues, to support the team and ensure the delivery of high quality, evidence-based assessment and treatments. You will be responsible for your own clinical caseload and you will be involved in assessments (including diagnostic assessments for ADHD), care planning, and offering interventions for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, with support from the multi-disciplinary team.
We offer ongoing training and development in a range of therapeutic modalities, as well as supervision and leadership skills.
If you fulfil the below criteria:
o registered with the Health & Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist.
OR
o have an accredited professional training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, or art therapy.
AND
o have experience of delivering mental health services to children and young people with neurodevelopmental disability in diverse community settings.
