We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative psychological therapist to join our psychological therapies team on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. This is to cover maternity leave. The position is available at band 7 or 8a depending on experience. This is a fulltime position but we would consider part time applicants looking to job-share.

We are committed to increasing the accessibility and acceptability of psychological interventions to the diverse population of Southwark, and welcome applications from people interested in designing innovative psychological and psychosocial interventions.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will provide psychological interventions for individuals and families experiencing psychosis and bipolar affective disorders. Whilst experience and competence in evidence-based approaches, such as CBT for Psychosis and Family Interventions for Psychosis are desirable, there will be opportunities for development within the role; and we are also looking for people with a track record of delivering interventions that improve accessibility for groups under-represented in psychological therapy services.

They will work as part of the MDT and provide indirect support and consultation for colleagues.
