Job summary
As Facilities Team Leader, you will lead a dynamic team delivering essential services across the Ladywell Unit. From portering and reception to security and waste management, your leadership will ensure smooth, safe and efficient operations 24/7.
You will be the first line of management, coordinating rotas, resources and service standards while fostering a culture of professionalism and care.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be empowered to make decisions, respond to incidents, and drive service improvements. Your ability to plan, delegate and motivate will be key to maintaining high standards and supporting both staff and patients. You will also play a vital role in health and safety, fire safety, and emergency procedures, ensuring compliance and readiness at all times.

Main duties of the job
Responsible for the day-to-day management, supervision and coordination of a full 24-hour Facilities Service to staff, patients and visitors within the Ladywell Unit site and as appropriate to role.
First line management of the facilities team, providing leadership through effective planning and delegation; ensuring that staff are working effectively and that the service is delivered in accordance with organisational requirements.
Provide high quality support to the Facilities Manager, playing a key role in identifying and implementing service improvements.
