Job summary
We are looking for an Assistant Psychologists for the Croydon CAMHS treatment team who offer a mental health service to children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health disorders and/or ADHD.You will contribute to the provision of services to meet the needs of these young people by supporting initial assessments and preparation of draft reports, supporting the running of parent information groups and supporting initiatives to reduce waiting times.

Main duties of the job
o To assist practitioner psychologists in the delivery of a specialist assessments and interventions. Working collaboratively to assess the needs of the service users, planning, implementing and evaluating the care given in the Croydon treatment teamo To provide clinical work as required by the service, under the direct guidance, close clinical and professional supervision, of a practitioner psychologist. This may involve co-facilitation of psychoeducation and therapeutic groups.o To assist in clinically related administration, e.g. assessment/discharge reports, conduct audits, collect statistics, develop audit and/or research projects.o To work following clinical guidelines and the policies and procedures of the service, while closely supervised and regularly seeking help from clinical/professional supervisor or manager.

- A First-class or Upper-second-class Bachelors degree with Honours in Psychology or an equivalent conversion course that is accredited by the British Psychological Society and confers the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society. (A)
