Job summary

Lambeth NHS Talking Therapies is looking to recruit a part-time 2 days/week) LTC team lead with key responsibilities around planning, managing and evaluating the delivery of the long-term health conditions pathway and services within Lambeth NHS Talking Therapies

You will work closely with the rest of the management team to promote and support the delivery of the service.

To take a lead role in the day to day running of the Long-Term conditions (LTC) part of the service

To monitor, collect, analyse, evaluate and disseminate LTC condition data on performance and outcomes.

To set up and operationally manage integrated clinics

To work collaboratively with the service lead/deputy service lead to implement service developments / new initiatives

To support the clinical leads in maintaining a strong, committed and motivated team

To support clinical (team) leads in expanding this project by being involved in recruitment and training of new staff members, and then continue to support the clinical lead in maintaining a strong, committed and motivated team

To support the induction of new staff with a view of supporting new staff members to have LTC in mind.

Education and Qualifications

Essential

  • Doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology (and HCPC registration) and having completed an IAPT HI CBT course, OR, High intensity (HI) therapist, having completed an IAPT CBT course
  • BABCP practitioner full accreditation
  • To have completed King's College London's Long Term Conditions in IAPT course

Clinical Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working within an IAPT service, as a qualified HI
  • Specialist experience in adapting treatments for clients with Long Term Conditions who present with depression and a range of anxiety disorders
  • Experience of supervising high intensity therapists/CBT therapists/PWPs
  • Specialist experience in setting up integrated clinics, and working as part of an NHS Talking Therapies integrated clinic

Management experience

Essential

  • Significant experience of contributing to service development and improvements (2=managed service function, 1=project)
