Main duties of the job

Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with the SLaM EPR programme team, Clinical Systems, and the Supplier to ensure seamless integration of solutions and workflows across the EPR system.

Technical Leadership: Serve as a highly developed subject matter expert, guiding the design and direction of software solution developments in line with the Trust's informatics strategy to support effective patient care and staff functions.

Programme Execution: Develop and implement technical activities within the programme timeline, acting as an escalation point for issues.

Collaboration: Work with the entire team to develop and deliver the Trust's clinical system applications, meeting the needs of the Trust and its users.

During the deployment of the EPR and working in conjunction with the EPR programme team and the Supplier Integration Architects, ensures integration of solutions and workflows into and across the EPR.

Develop strong working relationships with the other teams in the EPR programme, with specific attention to infrastructure dependencies between hardware and software solutions and co-ordination between Digital and Clinical Systems teams on projects.

Clinical systems support and improvement - Working closely with clinical teams to identify areas of improvement.

Monitoring how the system is used and enhancing the effectiveness within the organisation.

Designing, developing and supporting software solutions to streamline patient-care, work-flow and business processes.

Monitoring and support of clinical systems and surrounding applications.

Using monitoring tools to identify and resolve identified problems.

Providing second line support to analysis and investigation complex issues

Developing clinical systems with the highest coding standard.

Take requirements from senior members of the team and turning those requirements into a working product.

Contribute to the response and management of IT related Board Assurance Framework (BAF) Risks.

Develop and publish a range of key performance indicators for the programme allowing clear visibility of the effectiveness of the Data Migration activities.
