An excellent opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and passionate Team Leader to join the Croydon Rehab and recovery team. This post will primarily be based at Queens resource centre, in Croydon.
The post holder carries day to day responsibility for the operational management and delivery of services within the pathwayWorking in partnership with service users, carers, the wider multi-disciplinary team and other partners and agencies to ensure effective outcome so provide leadership and support the Service Manager in ensuring high quality care is provided across the pathwayThe post holder, with the support of the Service Manager, will hold delegated responsibility for the management of the pathway team budget.The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring performance within designated trust standards including Key Performance Indicators and financial management targets.
Main duties of the job
Applicants will lead a team who specialise in supporting service users who have experienced complex psychosis, treatment resistant psychosis, or a related significant mental illness as described within the NICE guidelines for Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will demonstrate the initiative to take a leadership role in the development of evidence based and recovery focused interventions to maximise an individual's independence and enable people to lead fulfilling lives. They will have experience of working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems and be able to demonstrate clinically effective care management skills as well as leadership within a community mental health setting.
