We are recruiting High Intensity CBT trainees to join Lewisham NHS Talking Therapies.
About the role:
Post holders will spend three days a week in the service and the other two days they will undertake the PG Dip in CBT course at Royal Holloway University of London. There is an expectation from Royal Holloway and Lewisham NHS Talking Therapies that successful applicants will stay in their posts and complete the training which will last until early 2024.

About the team:
We have been an IAPT service (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) since 2009 and currently have over 90 staff. We provide a full range of NICE recommended step 2 and 3 interventions for depression and anxiety including CBT, IPT, Counselling, DIT, BCT and EMDR. The post holders will join Lewisham Talking Therapies to deliver high quality cognitive-behavioural therapy to clients with depression and / or anxiety.
Post holders will be expected to see clients in GP surgeries, outpatients clinics, and possibly in other community settings e.g. libraries. Most of our staff do at least one evening clinic a week and are involved in delivering both individual and group treatments. Successful applicants can expect to join a highly valued and motivated workforce which consists of cognitive behavioural therapists, clinical / counselling psychologists, counsellors, PWPs, career coaches and our admin team.

About the location:
We have three team bases in Grove Park, Deptford and the Jenner. Post holders will be based at one of them but may have to travel between the two sites occasionally.
Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2). We also provide services and operate across other locations, such as London boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark; and substance misuse services for residents of Bexley, Lambeth, Greenwich and Wandsworth.

- A recorded/registered qualification in one of the following at graduate level in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy or within a psychological therapy OR having worked as a qualified PWP for at least two years and evidence of meeting the KSA requirements of BABCP
