Job summary

We are looking for a conscientious and motivated Research Assistant to work in the Mental Health of Older Adults department, in collaboration with the Department of Old Age Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King's College London, to help us deliver a major ongoing community-based longitudinal study to explore what is it that enables one family to live well with dementia and another with ostensibly the same illness and challenges to have very poor experiences.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be part of a team of three Research Assistants who work closely together and in collaboration with Professor Rob Stewart, the Principal Investigator and the Old Age Psychiatry field team of research assistants, recruiting and assessing study participants from local mental health services in South London. In addition, the Research Assistant will carry out annual follow up assessments, enter data, maintain study documentation.

One full time post (37.5 hours per week), fixed term contract, 24 months

This is a collaborative post between SLaM and King's College London and as such your application details will be shared between relevant departments in the two institutions.
