Job summary

To provide a comprehensive, efficient, and effective administrative service to the Lambeth Community Living Well Centre (LWC) teams. The teams comprise of the Psychiatrists, Administrators, Therapists, CPN's, Social workers, Support worker and Occupational Therapist and Psychologist, you will be a vital part of the team and contribute to the innovations and enhancement of team.

Main duties of the job

To provide a comprehensive, efficient, and effective administrative service to the Lambeth Community Living Well Centre (LWC) teams. The teams comprise of the Psychiatrists, Administrators, Therapists, CPN's, Social workers, Support worker and Occupational Therapist and Psychologist, you will be a vital part of the team and contribute to the innovations and enhancement of team.

Our ideal Administrator will have some experience working in a clinical team or similar, be passionate about exceptional customer service, have excellent communication and organisational skills, demonstrate brilliant time keeping and reliability, have attention for detail, be a committed and honest individual who always works to very high standards, be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill and work on their own initiative.

Job responsibilities

  • Support service related projects with the CSL and the BM.
  • Assist the service with monitoring, updating and reporting comprehensive service related activity data.
  • Responsible for checking of funding arrangements for all care options within the service
  • Co-ordinate day to day admin support for the service and assist with the development of administrative processes.
  • To participate in any training and developmental needs as required by the CSL and the BM.
  • Support the service wide administrative cover arrangements.
  • In conjunction with the service lead complete the service E-roster in a timely manner ensuring that data is collected and submitted.
  • Process e-procurements requests, petty cash and agency staffing.
  • Organising meetings and distribution of minutes, agenda and any other related materials.
  • Supporting with the recruitment and selection of junior administrate staff as and when required.

  • oSecretarial qualification or demonstrable experience
  • oGood standard of general education including English and Mathematics
  • oDeveloping and implementing administrative systems
  • oSupporting data collection
  • oProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power point

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Ability to interpret and follow written guidelines
  • Proficient Audio/Copy typing skills (at least 55WPM)
  • Conference / Event Organising
  • Ability to liaise and work with all levels of staff

Desirable

  • An understanding of Electronic Patient Journey System

Experience

Essential

  • Previous secretarial/PA experience
  • Handling confidential information
  • Developing and implementing administrative systems
  • Supporting data collection

Desirable

  • Worked in an NHS environment
  • Experience of working with mental health patients
