Job summary
The SEL Vanguard programme brings together mental health and voluntary sector providers and local authorities to support vulnerable Children and Young People (CYP) affected by serious violence.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, compassionate and committed individual to join the Clinical Team - offering a range of prevention and early intervention programmes to CYP and families. The post-holder will take a strategic role in leading on community-engagement and co-production, ensuring that People with Lived Experience have a key role in service-development. They will work closely with our delivery partners, supporting a culture of partnership working and collaboration.
You may have lived experience of the criminal justice service, care system or similar. This could include supporting someone close to you to navigate through these systems - or you may have a special interest in working in this area.

Main duties of the job
To work closely and in collaboration with all community partners agencies on the development of CMSVRP Vanguard for South-East London.
To provide input and contribution to the clinical hub for SEL Vanguard: participating in engagement, co-production and training events.
To engage with young people and their families affected by serious youth violence.
To provide regular consultation, peer support, and reflective practice for partner agency case managers, mentors and other staff members.

To provide support in embedding the lived experience charter objectives and values into the organisation and support the SEL Vanguard in it's strategic development.
