Job summary

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic Head of Healthcare to the Integrated Healthcare Service at Oasis Restore. We are looking for a leader that can work in line with 'Child First' principles. We are looking for a highly energetic and robust leader who has a proven track record of delivering high quality services in either the NHS, Prison healthcare, social care or the private sector. The successful candidate will lead by example, commit to team and partnership working and will have the necessary skills to successfully lead a diverse multi-disciplinary healthcare team . He / she will have excellent communication skills and will continue to modernise and develop the services within the establishment to meet the needs of the Young people that reside there.

Successful candidates will be invited for an interview during the week commencing 25/5/26. Interviews may be conducted either online or in person. In the case of an in-person interview, it will last up to two hours and may require travel to London.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be an experienced registered healthcare professional who has excellent staff management and leadership skills. As the Head of Healthcare will deliver excellent, high quality, age appropriate health and wellbeing services to young people residing at Oasis restore School to achieve a targeted and appropriate service, delivered in accordance with evidence-based practice and local policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will hold overall responsibility for the delivery of high quality responsive healthcare services and will ensure they are compliant with clinical and financial governance frameworks. They will have responsibility for annual revenue budget and be responsible for ensuring performance, quality and integration in all aspects of healthcare delivery, including sub-contracted services.

The post holder will proactively manage and lead the healthcare senior management team to further develop services, which are trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate including sexual health, neuro-disability, innovative health promotion, mental and psychological wellbeing.

Essential Requirement

a) Registered healthcare professional

b) Experience or demonstrated understanding of working with children or Young Adults

c) Substantial post registration experience in in a senior leadership role

d) Resident in UK for 3 years or longer
