You will drive service development, lead quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to regional strategic leadership within North Central London. Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and team leadership skills are essential.

Provide strategic leadership in the delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of high-quality, safe, effective, and efficient care within the Camden Post Infection Conditions Service.

Collaborate with other Long term Condition clinical leads across sites to advance our Allied Health and Nursing services, aligning with local, regional, and national healthcare priorities.

Partner with the Long-Term Conditions Service Manager and senior managers within the organisation and across the sector to shape and influence the development of innovative care models.

Drive service innovation by promoting and implementing progressive approaches to specialised care delivery across multidisciplinary teams.

Act as an expert practitioner in holistic post-infection condition care and therapy, operating with a high degree of professional autonomy, accountability and clinical expertise.

Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research activities within the clinical practice and service areas, supporting the organisation's commitment to excellence and innovation in the care for patients with post-infection conditions.

The team is currently based at St Pancras Hospital but will shortly be moving to Peckwater Centre and operates 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

About us

The team is currently comprised of a Physiotherapist, a Rehabilitation Assistant and is supported by a Psychologist and specialist Physicians. It has a strong culture of integrated working between community, primary and secondary care, established through close communication, weekly MDT's, joint training and clinical support from Respiratory Consultants at the Royal Free Hospital and UCLH. There is also a strong emphasis on learning in an open and safe environment where staff are empowered to see situations as opportunities to grow and enabled to increase knowledge and skills.

CNWL provides NHS services throughout a person's life, in physical and mental health and everything in between, at GPs and hospitals to the community and in their own home. The majority of our services are provided in the community, which means treating people in their homes or from clinics close to home. In this sense we are a very modern part of the NHS, something the new Long Term Plan wants to see more of, with better integration and coordination of care, delivered as close to home as possible.
