We are also keen to see studies achieve greater recruitment from currently underserved groups.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will work on all aspects of study set-up and delivery, including: feasibility, confirming capacity & capability of sites and participant recruitment, through to payment of research-related costs. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual who works well under pressure and has strong interpersonal and communication skills, combining sensitivity and empathy.
About us
You will be part of the Noclor NHS Research Support Service based in Kentish Town. We are a vibrant, supportive and thriving team eager to hear from like-minded people who share our values and vision and are committed to "promoting the best in research". We also offer a range of training and development opportunities.
This is a chance to develop your experience and knowledge of clinical research in wider care settings. You will work with research teams to promote research, set-up studies, collate data and recruit participants to a range of studies across the North London Research Delivery Network area. You will be working with academics from universities such as University College London and Imperial College, along with GP practices, schools, care homes and other community services.
Please note that working from home arrangements will not be permitted during the first six months in post. Thereafter, coordinators are allowed one day each fortnight WFH. The expectation is that the bulk of your time will be office-based, Monday to Friday, but a willingness to work flexibly and travel across services within the Trust is an essential aspect of this post.
This is a research administration post.
