Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 (1 year Fixed term) Physiotherapist within the Camden Integrated Community Healthcare team. The team provides rehabilitation for patients in patients' own homes in North and West Camden. The team also co-ordinates the staying steady falls prevention service across Camden

Main duties of the job

You will provide evidence based rehabiliation physiotherapy to patients, often presenting with highly complex needs, within people's homes and supporting them to access the local community. You will supervise B6 and B5 staff within the community physiotherapy team, providing expert leadership and management. To will be working as part of a neighbourhood team with occupational therapists, district nurses and complex care team

  • Registration with HCPC as an Physiotherapist
  • Degree/ Diploma Physiotherapy
  • Post Registration courses e.g. ? Neurology ? Older people/elderly rehab ? Goal setting ? Student Placement Educator

Desirable

  • Member of CSP
  • Post Graduate MSc Degree
  • Membership and/or involvement in a CSP professional network

Previous Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience of working in the UK or a similar health economy as a physiotherapist.
  • Previous general experience to include the following: ? Community working ? Older people/elderly rehab ? Medicine & general surgery ? Orthopaedics ? Falls ? Pain Management ? Neurology ? Dementia ? Respiratory ? Group work
  • Experience of teaching students/ juniors & assistants
  • Experience of completion of audit and service developments
