Health Visitor Team Lead

Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated health visitor to provide strong clinical and operational leadership within Harrow's Integrated 0-19 Service. As Team Lead for the Health Visiting Service you will play a key role in shaping high-quality, family-centred services, supporting a skilled multidisciplinary team, and ensuring safe, effective delivery of the Healthy Child Programme. This role is ideal for a dynamic practitioner who is passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families across the community.

In order to be eligible for this post, applicants must be a qualifiedSpecialist Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) - Health Visiting.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and operational management of the 0-19 Health Visiting team.
  • Support clinical supervision, workload management and safe, effective practice across the service.
  • Coordinate service delivery in line with local needs, national guidance and safeguarding requirements.
  • Lead staff recruitment, support performance management and enable continuous professional development.
  • Build strong working relationships with GPs, Local Authority, Family Hubs, Public Health and Voluntary Sectors.
  • Ensure compliance with CNWL policies, clinical governance standards and risk management processes.
