This is an exciting opportunity to work in CNWL Sexual Health service as a HCSW/customer care officer with the Camden and Islington Young People's Sexual Health network. (CAMISH).

CAMISH is a partnership between Brook andCentral and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) Sexual Health Services

CAMISH is a free and confidential sexual health and wellbeing service for people aged 24 and under in Camden and Islington. Services include STI testing and treatment, contraception and emergency contraception, condoms, pregnancy testing and wellbeing support.

This post is for a Band 3 HCSW/CCO to work with the CNWL team at the Archway site and on outreach.

Evenings and some weekends will be required.

The role will provide the opportunity to gain valuable experience in sexual and reproductive health working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

For the position you will be:-

  • A highly motivated individual

  • Computer literate - full training will be given for our computer system

About us

The role of CCO/HCSW includes directpatient contact with individualswho may be presenting with highly sensitive sexual health issues; we needstaff to support these individuals in a caring, sensitive and non-judgmental way, always maintaining their confidentiality. As well as registering patients to our clinical system and helping patients book appointments, you will work alongside the administration & clinical teams ensuring all scanning, filing and other administrative duties are carried out as well as chaperoning, venepuncture & other duties in the clinic as required.

This role to be maintained both in the clinic environment and whilst on outreach.
