Job summary
The post holder will contribute to the growth and maintenance of key functions of the clinical area by carrying out assigned tasks, involving direct and indirect care to service users, under minimal supervision and as directed by the Senior Practitioners/Team Leaders. Following personal development planning and targeted training, the competent practitioner will be in a position to work more autonomously in supporting service users. As a result, you will have developed a broad underpinning knowledge at an intermediate level, and can evaluate information and communicate effectively with a range of professionals.
Main duties of the job
To support members of the Brent Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team in ensuring a high standard of nursing and social care. To provide direct physical and psychological care to a designated group of service users through participation in the care planning, provision and evaluation of service user needs under the supervision of trained staff.
To assist in the provision of a community mental health care service to the residents of Brent.
