Job summary
The EDI Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the Trust's commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. The position involves managing administrative duties that support various EDI initiatives, including staff networks and the Central Access to Work Fund. The role will require effective collaboration with internal departments and external organisations to foster an inclusive work environment.
Main duties of the job
Key duties include organising and promoting staff network events, managing records of activities, maintaining communication channels for staff, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes for network leaders. The EDI Administrator will also support various diversity initiatives, produce reports, handle inquiries, and provide general administrative assistance for the EDI team. Excellent skills in using the Shared Business Service (SBS) system is essential.
The ideal candidate will have proven administrative experience, good IT skills, and an understanding of the Equality Act 2010. They must be adaptable, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities efficiently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection standards.
