Job summary

We have an exciting secondment opportunity for a highly professional, motivated and enthusiastic candidate to manage Eastlake Ward, based at Northwick Park Hospital. The ward offers care and treatment to both male and female patients who are acutely unwell, together with care planning, discharge planning, clinical risk assessments and providing a safe and therapeutic environment for all.

We are looking for a compassionate and highly motivated Ward Manager to lead our dedicated clinical team.

You will be able to demonstrate progressive skills in leadership, advanced clinical practice, and service development. We are seeking a nurse who is looking to further their career. You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team that is committed to the provision of high quality and patient-centred care, continuous service and staff development, and strong collaborative working with other agencies.

The successful applicant will work with the Matron to promote a culture that fosters staff involvement and a progressive attitude to service improvement, along with taking operational and clinical day to day management responsibility at team level using performance management systems. You will also work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.

  • Mentor qualification / ENB 998 or equivalent/ Completed Mentorship Course
