Main duties of the job
The Community Nursing service is developing within this dynamic and proactive climate working within a culture of collaboration and joint working with social service, acute and intermediate care. We offer on-going professional development and have a challenging agenda for the years ahead, which means that we are an exciting organisation to join.
Do you want to help deliver care to people in their own homes and within a clinic setting, working with supportive, skilled team while you do it?
Our aim is to recruit the best Health Care Assistants so that we can continue to develop and provide the best patient care. Candidates should demonstrate some experience providing care either on a professional or informal basis. Community experience is not essential but applicants will need to demonstrate that they understand the issues involved in working in people's own homes. You will be expected to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car for work.
About us
We are recognised locally, nationally and internationally for providing high quality, innovative healthcare. We aim to employ only the best people, and our experts are frequently called upon to contribute to national health strategy and policy, and many models of our care have been adapted for use in other countries.
We offer a generous relocation package (subject to eligibility assessment) and flexible working options, including bank assignments for most roles. See attached Staff Reward and Wellbeing Handbook detailing our benefits, discounts and wellbeing initiatives for staff.
The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.
